Jason has always taken pride in connecting people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and has a strong interest in promoting and encouraging diversity and acceptance. His first book, Denver in Color, published in 2017, shared the goal of Atlanta in Color, which is to spread love. As the founder of Colour of Love Photojournalism, LLC, Jason hopes to bring this project to other major U.S. cities.

With a doctorate in physical therapy from Hampton University, Jason lives the meaning of his name: healer. When not working, you will often find him on the Westside Beltline in Southwest Atlanta with his expectant wife, Rachael, and their son, Marley.

About the Atlanta Photographer: Jerry King

Jerry King is a commercial and editorial photographer of people. He has a genuine love of faces and believes there is an amazing story behind all of them. He is a US Army combat veteran and former police SWAT officer who has called Atlanta home since relocating there in 1998.

In his spare time you can find Jerry hiking the trails and enjoying the outdoors. He is seriously looking at a tiny house as a forever home. Why is Tabitha in his bio photo? She is his rock and gave him that little extra nudge to follow his dreams.

About the Denver Photographer: Jonathan Castner

I am a documentary and editorial photographer who specializes in telling the stories of normal yet extraordinary people. I am the visual heart of Denver In Color, bringing a sensitive approach the enables subjects to reveal their true emotional selves without artifice.

I am originally from Detroit but have called Denver my true home since moving there in 1995. My work has been published by a variety of newspapers and magazines worldwide. I live with my wife, Angela Rose, and our three cats. I can often be found on my motorcycle in an ongoing effort to visually explore the people and experiences of the modern West.
